drip it like its hot (showing my cool jackets)

If there's one thing that I'm looking forward for the spring/autumn period it is the Fashionable season (read: cool jacket season). I'm quite fond of layering in terms of clothes and jackets make the best use of that. It helps that they are generally the most detailed/attention grabbing part of any outfit.

I have a collection of jackets that I quite like and figured I wanted to show them all In One Single Beautiful Post.

I took all of these with my digital camera and figured around... 3/4 in that I have a standing lamp right next to me to make the darker clothes a little more clearer. And could have used it from the get-go, but oh well.

Sand brown parka from Superdry
My go-to winter jacket. Warm, plenty of pockets (except no on the left chest for some reason). It's drawback is that it's pretty heavy, so I generally try to avoid wearing a heavy backpack with this. Altough the word "try" is doing a lot of heavy lifting (heho) here.

!Solid all-weather jacket
Another go-to jacket, but for the other seasons when it's getting chilly. Which, living in Sweden, happens a lot. Very easy to put on and fairly practical. I like the blocky kind of striped pattern on it. At the very least it looks more interesting than down jackets (I see them a lot in my area. I understand why they are popular but my god have I grown tired of them lol).

Down coat
Or as we call them here "the mom sausage". Got it from a guy who got made fun of for "wearing a coat only women do" (and that was before the nickname was made). I didn't care and just wanted a big heat isolating coat at the time, which it did well mostly. Hate the hood though, it collapses if the air resistance is anything higher than "walking speed".

Levi Denim jacket
I like denim jackets for their "rough" look and that you can customize them with patches and stuff. And as you can see I'm too much of a coward to actually make a use of that. I have single Oni patch that bought in summer that I haven't made use of. Maybe one day.

Majima Sukajan from Insert Coin
One of my most weebish clothes but that's okay because it's still good as hell. Based on the back tattoo of the Extremely Good Character Goro Majima from the Yakuza games. Among the jackets they had for sale I thought this was the best looking, and it fits really well.

Brown hunter jacket
The token brown jacket that looks pretty cool, but is frankly a bit lousy with the pockets and such. I think out of all my jackets this is the one I feel the most "eh" about.

Biker jacket
look it was on sale and the last sample and the arms don't go way back when i raise them in front so that makes them cool and good okay no i dont have a motorcycle or anything dont make fun of me

Double breasted navy blue wool coat
My "Fancy" coat for all of the Important Occasions. Or if I want to wear something really nice that day.
Brown wool coat
I got really attached to the blue coat and decided to get something casual. The most recent item in my collection and real happy with it.

Japanese bomber jacket
I call it "my second hand golden treasure". The actual "cool jacket", which I was not only lucky to find but was also my size. Fell for it immediately and I'm looking forward to the spring/autumn season to wear it again.

Racer themed leather jacket
Another good one found in a second hand store (same as the bomber jacket). It's pretty volumous and I love the colors and patterns on this thing. Pretty good at keeping heat as well so it's surprisingly useful for a detailed jacket.

blog entry number one which means blog entry best

Between the end of 2023 and middle of 2025 I would make monthly Instagram post with photos I've taken of that specific month. Around the halfway point I would also write about my reflections of events that happened during that time as well. After a while I got tired of it, since the posts would usually focus on the "Big Things" that happened during that time, which meant I had to spend a lot of time remembering what to write and it just got tedious. And my life was getting rather repetitive in terms of Big Stuff of what I have done.
I did want to blog about the mundane and small things, but with the way Instagram was structured, the focus there was always on the most eye-catching content, and it was just not all that good of a place to write texts in. It'd feel odd to have a simple photo of a street light covered in stickers and reflect on politics on the same platform people use to share Funny And Helpful Videos. Especially since my audience were just my family members and friends.

An online mutual (lillyashton idk how to tag sorry) has been talking about Blogging On Actual Blog Sites today and it got me interested. Having reflected on my past blogging life on IG, that feeling went to genuine excitement for what I can do with blogging that even regular social media just don't capture fully.

Whether this is something that will actually last or just be a one-off thing is going to Depend but I do know that there are plenty of things in the upcoming future that I do want to blog about once they come.

So with all of this in mind, let me talk about what happened today, January 3rd:

THAT MOTHERFUCKER DID WHAT!?!?

Here I was hoping for a chill (figuratevly but hey I don't mind some light snow) day, but waking up to find out that some dipshit leader bombed a city in a different country just to kidnapp their dipshit leader was not really what I expected. I imagine there's going to be a wild series of events related to this.

To my personal life though: Did the first workout of the year! I always train early in the weekends, mostly to avoid having to deal with people, but it's also nice to have it over with early so the rest of the day is wide open for activities.
It was leg-day. Nothing to note but I did make solid progress on all of the exercises. I fear the inevitable plateu but I'm enjoying this W.
I weighted at 83.50 kg (~184 lbs) this morning, and my current goal of the year is to slowly bulk upward. I don't set a definitive weight goal because expectations for how someone will look at a specific weight is going to differ in reality, depending on how fast you gain weight.

Besides that I went out shopping. Got myself a cool dark brown belt from a second hand store and it has the belt holes across the whole belt, instead of just a handful at the tip. Got some very much needed new socks and coloring pencils, primarily for the black sketchbook that I got as a christmas present from a friend.

The big thing that happened though is that for the first time in my life I shaved my head. Had to confirm to the hairdresser at least twice that Yes. I want it at 0 mms.

The reason being that I've noticed that my hair was thinning out at the top for a good while. I simply wasn't sure how it would look on me, so I saved it for after new years when I don't have any events where I had to look good.
Got a bit annoyed at a response from Threads where some random stranger responded by replying an AI edit of me in a rock stage. Unfortunately, people on Threads (or at least Swedish people on Threads) are far more okay with AI than I would like. It's honestly a bit gross. I told that person off and he seemed to have listened... for my case, anyway. I could see he kept doing that stuff to others but none of them (that I saw) got upset at him for that.

Truly a strange day for a lot of reasons. Thank you to everyone who took their time reading this. Will see you in a upcoming post!

i caught up to dc's absolute universe series

My summer vacation started this week. Every day has been sunny and hot. So as a self-proclaimed summer boy I spent most of my time inside my...
